PRIVATE TO: SelfAs soon as this war is over I am going to retire. The article for all of it's wrongs was right in one way. Demeter is sick and I need to care for her. The boy is inadequate in doing so, his job taking precedence over her. Even when that bloody hand was sent to her he could not take time away. I no longer trust her care with him. I will need to find a new healer to double check all potions and everything in order to make sure they never be of lesser quality than what I pay for through his own idiocy.
Open trust fun for the thing child. I need to begin to refer to it as it's name.
Aeschylus Caspar if the child is a boy, of which I sincerely hope it is. Perhaps this retirement will also allow me a better hand in this child's future so I do not get another one like the boy.

Diagon Alley will be closed from 4PM on in order to remove the posters.

PRIVATE TO: Department of Magical Law EnforcementI will be out of the office from now until Tuesday. If you have need of anything then send it to your immediate superior. Do not contact me unless someone is dead, dying or about to.
During this time I would like you all to hink about why you became a member of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Especially the Hitwizards and Aurors. Your job is to help civilians as a whole, to protect society from Death Eaters and whatever other menaces we may encounter. I can understand not wanting to lose members of this Department and I understand we are short staffed. But Mr. Pepper had his opportunities, numerous of them. More than others due to the fact that we cannot lose more members. But eventually it was at a point where it was just not forgivable anymore.
The tagging system is in place for a reason. If you have a problem with how I am running everything, file a formal complaint or tell me in a respectful manner and I will listen. Swearing and acting like children is not going to do anything but harden my resolve that this tagging system is correct. If none of you are giving information outside of the Department, then no ones journals should be inappropriately tagged.
These journals were given to you for work and while there are bootlegged copies the ones you hold in your hands are supposed to be used for contact with other members of the Department. I trust you all to remember that.

PRIVATE TO: Department of Magical Law Enforcement Octavius Pepper is no longer a member of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Please make sure to not include him in any and all wards regarding work from now on.
He is now a civilian and so he must be treated as one. If found doing anything wrong and you are unable to arrest him for whatever reason, please inform your superior officer and we will deal with it.

PRIVATE TO: Department of Magical Law EnforcementWe have 10 individuals in custody, and as much as I would wish for all ten to be convicted of being a Death Eater with plans to kill those women, I at the same time cannot feel right if they are unjustly imprisoned. It will merely come back and haunt us. I want us to be as through as possible so that when the convictions come, there is no doubt in anyone's mind that they are guilty of being a terrorist.
People like Corbina Lestrange, Evangeline Macnair, Cadmus Wilkes and others have never been brought in for anything, they are simply related to people who may have and I do not want to send them away unless it is one hundred percent certain they are apart of the Death Eaters. They may be supporters, but we cannot send them to prison for merely believing as they do. However, aiding and abetting is something we should also look for.
Secondly, I want three different Aurors watching Ms. O'hare, Mrs. Potter and Ms. McCormack at all times. I want their every move accounted for, every person they talk to, and every single letter they receive to be tagged and scanned for any potential dangers. All Aurors must be cleared with me before they begin to work.
We have got Rodolphus Lestrange in our custody as well as a sworn note from him claiming that he Imperiused his son, but that does not mean Marius Lestrange will sit down. He has been a pest to us for quite some time and I do not want him to get the opportunity to attack or injure those girls, or to inform someone else to to attack them as well.
On that note, Marius Lestrange is to be watched like a hawk. He does not sneeze without us knowing it. If he places a single toe out of line I want him brought in. The more serious the error the better for us in getting both Rodolphus and Marius Lestrange into prison. I also want Rabastan Lestrange watched. No doubt he is irked over the imprisonment of his brother and while we do not have anything prior on his record, it does not hurt to be through.
I have gotten a few complaints and questions of the families of those who are imprisoned. If you can, direct them to me if you cannot merely inform them that the trial will begin soon, we are doing the best we can and the only people allowed to see those imprisoned are their lawyers under supervision. There is to be no letters or journals allowed near the prisoners, even if they are yours. They are not to have contact with the outside world unless it is through a lawyer.
For now I wish for the reasons we traded Rodolphus Lestrange for Marius Lestrange to remain private. I do not want the Media to run with this story until after the trail in case it may hinder our efforts. It would not be a good thing if news of this leaked down.

PROFESSIONALISM
Would someone please inform everyone else of the definition as it seems that some of you have forgotten. I do not think that it is too much of me to ask that member of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement act with decorum and propriety in a public forum.
While this does not apply to everyone, the fact remains the same. This is becoming simply unacceptable. I can understand that the last two days have been rough on everyone, but this does not mean we lose our focus. If you lose your focus and begin to act like a rag tag group of ruffians then what do people have to look up to?
If you want to act like a fool, do it under wards to your friends.
